Went to the local mall for lunch and as I'm walking around I always look at whoever passes me and I smile.
WHY oh WHY??? do people not give you eye contact as they're passing???
Are they really that scared of a woman walking past with a sack full of lunches?
It's Friday, you're at the mall...what's the problem??
Of course, it's not just today, it's every day and every where you go? I find it funny that people don't look at each other or even acknowledge that someone is walking past them.
Am I the wierd one?
Do you smile at people when you walk past?

I always smile at people too! They give you this look like, what do you want??? LOL! Oh well - happy people live longer!!!
I agree! Although, sometimes it gets a little weird when you see someone that you think you know so you start to actually say hi...and it turns out to be someone else!
I may be guilty at not acknowledging people when I shop but it's just because I hate shopping and want to get in and out of that mall as fast as possible!
Girl, you're not weird at all. I wonder how two humans can pass each other and not recognize one another with eye contact. I think some people may be so far away in their minds or so focused on something else that it hinders them from seeing what is right in front of them. On the other hand, some people are just unsociable or don't know how to be polite. Gotta give them the benefit of the doubt!
