Tomato, Eggplant, & Caper Salad Tuesday

Ok so maybe if you're not on WW you wouldn't eat it! And so noone else did...but that's ok, just means more for me. I did enjoy the salad, along with Pan Fried Chicken with Corn and Bellpepper topper, the potato is for looks, cause that's what Johnny had along with his dinner. Since it was alot of chopping and pan fried chicken, it was done fairly quickly but took alot of time. hmmm....that doesn't make too much sense! So that meant no evening Core ball exercise!

Thank goodness I could hear Johnny on the wii fit this morning and that motivated me to get my butt up on the treadmill...thanks honey! Oh and he locked Super Hula Hoop, whoohoo!

This is apparently what the girls do when they get home from school, and look at them taking pictures of each other getting on my computer! And kids wonder how mom's know everything...hello girls, you took pics of yourself on mom's camera! I hope all your homeworks done...

So the hubby has a new project tonight...working on his car this time.
He's trying to buff out deep scuff marks on the rims, can't imagine how those got there??
All I know it couldn't have been the month and half that I drove it.

And here's the boy so proud with the horsey he made when Animaland came to his school. Thank goodness that he changed his mind from the poodle he wanted earlier that morning! Tomorrow is bear day so he gets to bring his "bear" with him. Oh and he's moving up a class, he's so excited. He showed me the new cubby that's waiting for him in his big boy classroom...he knows in March!

It's Tuesday night so nothing too exciting going on...just a regular weeknight for a working mom! Work, clean, cook, clean, laundry, email, check orders, call customers, update blog, and it's only 10pm...I still have a few hours to work with!

Wheh...what a weekend!

Working full time, having a family of 5, and running your own business sure makes for a busy busy weekend!!
Friday night rush home from work, figure out what the girls are doing for the night, and Johnny's home to watch Ethan -7:30pm Partytime!!Oh yeah, and this party was one of the highlights of my business...money makin' $$ party, 3 bookings, and signed 3 consultants! By the time I get home, everyone is knocked out!
Sat- gotta get up early, today is Shaedon's 1st bday party! Which means family, friends, and food! Potato salad has been requested and we're bringing Gazpacho salad, my new favorite 1 point side dish! We also picked up the cake which was just an idea out of two crazy party planning sisters heads...the grocery store bakery actually pulled thru...check out the giant cupcake birthday cake!
Happy Birthday Shaedon boy!

The biker boyz rode over and are chillin' in the front yard of dad's house! Don't look too closely cause Jeff's givin away the secret club hand jive!

Sunday was a day of relaxation and loungin for mama...after the WW meeting, of course.
I was .2 lbs away from my goal for the week, but it's ok. We've been eating better and I'm really working on excercising every, yes, EVERY single day. Johnny and the biker boyz went for the Sunday cruise, Loryna is of course running around town, Lorysa is hangin out with friends. So that gave me time to put orders in, sign another consultant #4 in 3 days(whoohoo), send emails, and get dinner ready.

Tonight we had Pork Pot Roast w/ potatoes, peppers, and onions. Oh yeah, I threw some brussel sprouts in (I of course was the only one that ate them!)
I think they were all pleasently surprised with the meal. Even though Ethan boy refused to eat...maybe it had something to do with the Jumbo Jack and fries his sister was eating right next to him! Lorysa says the potatoes are BOMB!!

Our last event of the weekend is the monthly buzz for the boy. Johnny got some new clippers so he wanted to try them out, one of the joys of being a parent... built in guinea pigs!

They worked out great, check him out, he ended up being a chick magnet!!

My life, my life, my life...in the sunshine...

Ok, so here we go, Post # 1
We are a Party of Five
The oh so happy couple - Johnny & Janelle
The teenager - Loryna
The pre-teen(and believe me she's counting down) - Lorysa
And the boy - Ethan boy

So here's a typical day...
beep, beep, beep- that's the alarm its 6am
All kids packed up and dropped off by 7am and off to the office for the day job...
Receive calls around 2:30 from the girls...going out mom! Umm excuse me, going out? Give me specifics!!
Home by 6pm with Ethan in tow
Straight to the kitchen...din din time! And we have 30 recipes from Weight Watchers to choose from, and the family is just ecstactic -yummmy, weight watchers dinner again mommy, can't wait! (sarcastically of course) While dinners cooking, I'm trying to fit in a workout- Finally tried that giant ball that's been sitting in the garage- Thanks to Kimmy! (Now Sister the rule is, if you leave it in someone's garage for 3 years, it belongs to them!!) Core workout is pretty cool, not too much coordination needed, I can do this!!
So now it's 7pm and tonight we have Chicken Paella (I'm trying to foto our dinners- they think I'm crazy - I think I'm a good cook and want to share, thanks WW!!)

The last pic is of dinner the night before - Turkey Enchilada pie, with gazpacho salad, and side of beans- I enjoyed it, the rest of the family not so much!!

Johnny's back in the garage workin on his newest project, another one of those, "I just need one more things and I'll be satisfied" projects- I think the 4th one this month!! As you can see the front of the bike is sitting on the floor!

He was able to finish last night after a few runs to the store. Johnny is happily riding this morning!
Now it's 8pm...

The teenager is of course in her room by this point of the night, Ethan is trying to figure out where and what daddy is doing, that's me (the ghost in the photo) trying to figure out where Ethan is, and Lorysa (my shadow) is following me around with the camera!

After getting the boy to fall asleep on his own, no oreos or chocolate milk and 20 mins of whining, the girls are "sleeping", hubby has his bike put together and exhausted, I've prepared for my party tomorrow night, cleaned up, sent emails, struggled to figure out this blog thing, upload, download, add gadgets, and of course my IT husband looking at me like I'm crazy... It's 11:30 - I go to bed feeling blessed to have my party of five and we all got along today...wheehhh!! (if you have a family of five...you get it)
Follow along through the fun and agony as we try to figure out how to raise two completely opposite teenagers- Teen 1, the fiesty yet inquisitive one, Teen 2 quiet but wise-cracking and our ball full of energy known as The Boy. It aint always pretty, but we’ll sure try to make the best of it!
These are the stories of our lives…
